Irrigation demand on Douglas canal is currently very minimal.  By the end of this approaching weekend, all contract water users on Douglas canal will either be voluntarily off for the season, or will have used their full volume of contracted water.  Therefore, I plan to shut Douglas canal off for the season this coming Monday, Sept 20.

I am coordinating with the FWP fisheries biologists to do our end of season fish rescue/survey on one of the days following shut down, so I may be leaving a small sustaining flow until that process can be performed.
