I am posting this to very regretfully inform the many in the valley who knew her, that Lucy, my beloved friend, companion & partner on the Nevada creek project, passed away this last Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

We had just recently learned that a large, inoperable, mast cell tumor had formed around Lucy’s internal organs.\u00a0 She passed quickly and quietly at home, in both Shelly’s and my grieving arms.\u00a0 Her loss has left a deep hole in our hearts.\u00a0 Throughout her life, she shared with us her essence of innocence, love, and enthusiasm for life, and I think that we’re going to love & miss her for a long, long time.<\/p>\n

Later this spring, on a warm, calm, sunny day; we plan to scatter Lucy’s remains along the length of Nevada creek, so that she may continue to watch over the land that she so much loved to explore…<\/p>\n
