Remediation work for removal of pond weed through the restricted upper stretch of Douglas creek canal was continued through the weekend with a short amount to be completed today, Monday the 12th.\u00a0 Freeboard capacity has been increased by 18 to 24 inches through this 1.75 mile stretch.\u00a0 I will be returning the canal back to normal operation through today and tomorrow.<\/p>\n
