The snowmelt runoff will combine\r\nwith already swollen creeks and rivers to bring many rivers and\r\ncreeks to flood levels. Rainfall is also expected in some river\r\nbasins on Sunday into Monday with most river basins receiving\r\nless than 0.50 inches. The Bitterroot and Upper Clark Fork River\r\nbasins could see rain amounts in the 0.5 inch to 0.75 inch range.\r\nThe majority of runoff into creeks and rivers will come from the\r\nsnowmelt, however, areas of heavier rain will also combine with\r\nthe snowmelt runoff.\r\n\r\nThe following rivers will approach flood stage and possibly exceed\r\nflood stage next week.\r\nBitterroot River\r\nBlackfoot River\r\nClark Fork River\r\nSwan River\r\nYaak River<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hydrologic Outlook National Weather Service Missoula MT 712 PM MDT Fri May 4 2018 &#8230;Rivers and creeks on the rise due to snowmelt&#8230;.
