{"id":315,"date":"2015-05-12T11:21:52","date_gmt":"2015-05-12T17:21:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/water.helmville.com\/?p=315"},"modified":"2015-05-12T11:21:52","modified_gmt":"2015-05-12T17:21:52","slug":"update-for-5-12-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nevadacreek.com\/?p=315","title":{"rendered":"Update for 5-12-15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The NRCS released their May streamflow forecast last week.\u00a0 The complete Montana Water Supply Outlook Report may be viewed or downloaded at <a href=\"https:\/\/nevadacreek.com\/water_files\/docs\/forecasts\/current_forecast.pdf\">https:\/\/nevadacreek.com\/water_files\/docs\/forecasts\/current_forecast.pdf<\/a>.\u00a0 The short summary for Nevada creek is of no surprise to anyone:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>42% of normal for the month of May<\/li>\n<li>45% of normal for the months May through July<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Currently our lower &amp; mid-elevation Snotels report 0 snowpack.\u00a0 The higher elevation on Nevada Ridge is at 22% of normal for snow water equivalent.\u00a0 Needless to say, without precipitation we can anticipate very low levels of creek flow to be available for decreed water rights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contract Water:<\/strong>\u00a0 At last weeks W.U.A.
