This is a brief follow up to let all water user’s on Douglas canal know that the earlier referenced treatment of Douglas canal is planned to take place on this Saturday, June 29. This treatment will take approximately 9 hours to complete. I need to maintain a steady flow at the headgate of 30-35 cfs in order to effectively perform the treatment. The current flow is at 33 cfs so hopefully water user’s currently taking water can remain on until the end of the day on Saturday. If you wish to turn your Douglas canal water off before then, or make other changes, please contact me to discuss. I will make no irrigation changes on Douglas canal after Friday morning until Sunday.
